NL/JG IS CARBON-NEGATIVE, which means we offset all the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions we produce. We do yearly analyses to calculate our GHG footprint using fancy methods from the World Resources Institute (WRI), and Janky does his part by recycling his beer cans. So far, we've managed to offset a total of 7,648 tons of CO2 with verified carbon unit retirements (VCU) through our partners Southpole and Carbon Capture.

VCU is the coolest way to reduce or get rid of CO2, and they are all Janky approved through the Verified Carbon Standard to ensure it’s super environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and ethical. In 2022, we offset all our office emissions using a new unique Direct Air Capture (DAC) called Project Bison right here in the US (F*CK YA). It's this fancy AF modular system that sucks up carbon from the air and turns it into solid CO2 that gets stored underground, so it's like gone for real for real.
